If the cost of the auto glass is less than my deductible, will you still work with me?

Yes. If the cost of the auto glass used is less than your deductible, we will quote you a discount cash price that is competitive with other auto glass shops.

Will my windshield leak?

Not if the windshield is installed properly, and if you follow some simple instructions:

  • Leave one window down at least one inch for a minimum of eight hours.
  • No car wash for a minimum of 24 hours.
  • If tape has been applied, leave it for a minimum of 24 hours.

How soon can I drive after windshield installation?

The windshield is set in place and will not move during normal driving after one hour. However, the urethane is not strong enough to secure the windshield in a roll over or head on collision until it has set for eight hours.

When my windshield has been changed, will it be as good as before?

With a proper installation (OEM replacement glass), there will be no difference between a factory installed windshield and a windshield installed by us.

What is OEM?

Original Equipment Manufacturer. These manufacturers supply auto glass and windshields directly to auto-makers. This means that OEM replacement windshields are made to look and fit like the original equipment, with the same safety features. Certain controls must be met in the manufacturing process and quality inspections met. In essence, you are getting the highest windshield quality available for your vehicle.

If I submit an auto glass claim to my insurance company, will my rates go up?

No. California is a "no fault" state and the auto glass claim will be covered by the comprehensive portion of your deductible.
